Pre-requisites to becoming a State Affiliate
Must have a State Body registered under the Societies Registration Act.
Benefits of State Affiliates are as follows:
- Representation in the decision-making processes of the association.
- Access to resources such as training facilities, coaching programs, and coaching from the association.
- Help in promoting the sport and state affiliates through marketing materials, events, technical know-how and media coverage.
- Option of networking with other affiliates and officials in the federation which can lead to partnerships and collaborations.
- Discounted participation fees for athletes selected via State Championship for the national Championship.
Duties and responsibilities of State Affiliates are as follows:
- Add at least 5 academies from their state under the GAMMA-India umbrella in their first year of affiliation and 2 additional academies every year onwards, with a total of 12 affiliated academies.
- 15 participants from their state in every National Championship including 2 female participants.
- Host 1 State Championship every year for selection of athletes for National Championship.
- Have at least 5 GAMMAI certified officials in that state, with all officials having officiating experience in the National Championships.
Annual Affiliation fees: 7,500/-
